What products does HeenaStore sell?
HeenaStore offers 100% pure henna powder, BAQ (body-art-quality) henna, indigo powder, herbal hair colours (natural black, brown, and burgundy), sidr (jujube/ber leaf) powder, herbal henna blends, and pure essential oils such as tea tree, eucalyptus, cajeput, lavender, clove, and henna mixing oil. Is your henna 100% pure and chemical-free?
Yes. Our pure henna is made only from finely milled henna leaves (Lawsonia inermis) with no PPD, no ammonia, and no synthetic dyes. Our herbal hair colours are ammonia-free and blended with natural herbs. We never add metallic salts or harmful chemicals.
What is BAQ henna powder?
BAQ stands for Body Art Quality — the purest, freshest grade of henna, finely sifted (triple or 5× filtered) and high in lawsone, the natural dye molecule. It makes a smooth paste, gives crisp body-art lines, and produces rich, long-lasting hair colour, which is why both henna artists and home users prefer it.
What is the difference between your henna grades?
Our henna ranges from finely filtered BAQ (triple and 5× filter) for body art and premium hair colour, to natural hair henna and 9-herb herbal blends formulated for everyday hair care. The higher the filtration, the smoother the paste and the finer the application.
Can henna cover grey hair?
Yes. Pure henna colours grey hair a natural reddish-brown that deepens with repeated use. For brown or black results on grey, henna is layered or combined with indigo powder. Our ammonia-free black, brown, and burgundy herbal colours are designed for these shades.
How do I get black or brown hair with henna?
Pure henna alone gives reddish-brown. To achieve brown or black, combine or layer henna with indigo powder (Indigofera tinctoria), or use our ready herbal hair colours. We recommend a strand test first to preview the final shade.
How do I use henna powder on my hair?
Mix henna powder with warm water (and optional lemon or our henna mixing oil) into a yogurt-like paste, let the dye release for a few hours, apply to clean hair, leave for 1–3 hours, then rinse. Full step-by-step guidance is on our blog. Always patch test before first use.
Is henna safe? Do I need a patch test?
Pure henna is one of the oldest natural hair colourants and is generally safe. We still recommend a 48-hour skin patch test before first use. Avoid any product claiming to dye hair black instantly, as that can contain PPD — our henna is PPD-free.
What is sidr powder used for?
Sidr (also called jujube or ber leaf powder) is a traditional, gentle herbal cleanser for hair and skin. Many customers use it as a natural, mild alternative to conditioning hair washes.
How should I store henna powder?
Store henna in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, sealed in its pack. Lawsone fades over time, so use fresher crop for the strongest colour. See our blog guide "How to Store Henna Powder Correctly" for details.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Sealed henna powder typically stays good for around two to three years, with the strongest colour earlier in that window. Essential oils and herbal powders also keep best when sealed, cool, and dry. Check each pack for its specific best-before details.

Can I change or cancel my order?

How do I track my order?
Every eligible order ships with tracking. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched, and you can follow it through the courier's website. If you need help, contact us with your order number.
